Coffee and coconut scrub
Finally, a use for all of the leftover coffee from your coffee machine or stove top coffee maker! In a small bowl, mix together two tablespoons coffee grounds, two tablespoons coconut oil (melted) and two tablespoons sugar.
Lavender salt scrub
Simply mix three tablespoons salt (any salt works well) with enough olive oil to make a paste. Once combined, add three drops of your favourite essential oil. Lavender is a great choice as it is relaxing, but you may prefer the invigorating scent of peppermint or the freshness of orange.
Oatmeal scrub
Mix together two tablespoons porridge oats with one teaspoon baking soda. Add enough water to make a smooth paste.
Directions for each scrub:
Wet your feet in a bucket of warm water, then place your feet on a towel. Gently massage the scrub into your feet, paying particular attention to the any dry spots such as heels. Leave for 5 minutes to absorb, and then rinse off in the warm water. Pat try with the towel and enjoy the super smoothness.
