Weekend Today team welcomes newest addition

The 2025 panellists for Weekend Today have been announced, with the program excited to welcome their newest addition to the cast. 

Alison Piotrowski, who has been living and working in the US, will join the team after landing back in Australia. 

Hosts Clint Stanaway, Lizzie Pearl and Dan Anstey are excited to welcome Ali to the family.

"After four years of crossing to the show from weird time zones in North America, it feels surreal to be waking up with Weekend Today back home in Australia," Ali said of her new assignment.

"It's an honour and I can't wait for the year ahead, as a foreign correspondent and a mum, I'm thankfully already used to early wake-ups."

"Clint is the ultimate all-rounder and one of the hardest working guys in our industry, he's spontaneous, witty and a great journo and I look forward to juggling the crazy world of breakfast TV with him."

During her time in America, Alison covered America's first criminal trial of a former president, to the re-election of Donald Trump, the reversal of Roe-vs-Wade, Hurricane Ian - one of Florida's worst storms in twenty years and was on the ground in Gaza, following the October 7 attacks.
