Chocolate chip muffins

These scrumptious choc chip muffins will please adults and children alike.

Makes: 12

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cup self-raising flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 ¼ milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line 12 cup muffin tray with paper cases.
  2. Sift flour into large bowl. Mix sugar and chocolate chips in. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla. Gradually add mixture to dry ingredients. Gently mix until combined. 
  4. Spoon batter evenly into 12 muffin cups. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes and enjoy.
