Heartwarming beef casserole

This hearty, gorgeously tender beef casserole recipe is packed with lovely chunky veg and packed full of flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 750g steak, trimmed, roughly cut
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
  • 2 carrots, peeled, thickly sliced
  • ⅔ cup red wine
  • 2 dried bay leaves
  • 660ml bottle passata (tomato pasta sauce)
  • 1 ½ cups stock (whatever you’d prefer)
  • 260g bottle tomato chutney
  • 2 large sprigs fresh rosemary
  • Chopped fresh continental parsley, to serve
