Malaysian green bean stir fry

This Malaysian green bean stir fry is a delicious way to add a bit of colour to your mid-week meal schedule. Packed full of flavour, and so easy to make!

Serves: Four

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 tablespoons AYAM™ Malaysian Sambal Shrimp Paste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 garlic clove, chopped
  • 10-15g dried prawns, soaked in hot water until softened then pounded (optional)
  • 250g green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoon water

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a wok and sauté the garlic.
  2. Add the dried prawns and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add Shrimp Paste and mix well.
  4. Add beans, water, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the water has evaporated and the beans are cooked and well coated.
