Mango salsa

A fresh, colourful mango salsa that makes a great dip with tortilla chips or as a sweet-and-spicy salad on its own.

Serves: 1 cup  

Ingredients: 

  • 1 large ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1 tomato, deseeded, diced
  • ½ cup red onion, diced
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 yellow chilli, halved, deseeded, finely chopped
  • Salt, to taste

Method: 

  1. In a bowl, combine mango, tomato, onion, coriander, chilli and lime juice. Mix well. Season to taste with salt. Rest for 10 minutes before serving.
