Toffee apples

Take a walk down memory lane with these old-favourites – toffee apples. The grandkids are sure to love them!

Ingredients:

• 8 wooden sticks
• 8 small red apples, washed and dried
• 1½ cups light corn syrup
• 300g butter, chopped
• 2 cups caster sugar, superfine
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
