Panic as two schoolgirls go missing from their homes

NSW Police are currently investigating the disappearance of two schoolgirls from their homes in Sydney’s southwest.

Sandy Alsalihi and Eliza Coronakes, both aged 14, were last seen at their homes in Hinchinbrook and Middleton Grange on Wednesday evening.

Neither has been seen or heard from since.

NSW Police and their families are worried about their welfare due to their age.

Sandy is Mediterranean/Middle Eastern in appearance and is between 165 and 175cm tall with a dark brown bob.

The last time she was spotted she was wearing a maroon turtleneck jumper with dark grey tracksuit pants.

Eliza is Caucasian, between 160cm and 170cm tall, with long brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with “Positive Mental Attitudes” written on the sleeves and black tracksuit pants.

She may be wearing a black hoodie with green camouflage sleeves.

It is believed the girls may be in the Strathfield, Auburn or Burwood area.
