This 72-year-old gran LOVES video games

Meet Bridget Odlin, a 72-year-old retired debt recovery officer who’s completely hooked on video games.
Bridget first got a taste of the gaming life when she bought her son a Nintendo Entertainment System 30 years ago. But she soon found herself spending her spare time playing Super Mario.
“Ever since Super Mario came out, I’ve just loved playing them,” says Bridget. “We bought my son one for his birthday one March and by Christmas, my husband had to buy another for me because I wouldn’t get off it.”
Now, in her retirement, Bridget plays up to eight hours a day on her multiple devices -Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Wii.
The grandmother of nine isn’t a fan of the killings games though, finding them “boring”, much preferring role-playing games such as Tomb Raider, Zelda and Final Fantasy.
“The older kids like all this war stuff but I’m not interested in that,” Bridget says. “I just find it boring – all that killing.”
Although her husband Phil doesn’t enjoy video games, Bridget says that there are quite a few older people who enjoy gaming.
Tucker Carlson hits back at "stupid" Aussie journalist
“[Phil] has tried it but I used to get mad at him – he’s tried Lara Croft and he killed her. He’s not brilliant at it.
“My friend plays. She’s my age and I’ll go round to hers and have a game.
“There’s a lot of older people who like to play, but some can’t do it all.”
