Cruise line faces fine for all-night party in Ibiza

<p>Royal Caribbean’s cruise liner MS Brilliance of the Seas is set to face a fine for an all-night party during a stopover in Ibiza.</p> <p>The ship was docked in Marine Botafoch on the Balearic island and town hall officials said they received various calls complaining about the noise.</p> <p>Police and port authorities were alerted but said they were unable to get the music turned down.</p> <p>The ship travelled from Barcelona and docked in Ibiza for two days. Local reports noted that the noise continued until 8:30 the next day.</p> <p>Port authorities have initiated proceedings which are expected to result in a fine for the cruise ship’s agent, with sources warning it would be the “maximum possible under the law” for breaching noise regulations.</p> <p>MS Brilliance of the Seas holds 2,500 passengers.</p> <p>The ship sails Western Caribbean itineraries out of Florida during the summer season and then crosses the Atlantic in late April, offering several Mediterranean itineraries out of Barcelona through winter.</p> <p>What is your wildest memory on a cruise?
