Fan favourites Dave Matthews Band announce 2020 Australian tour

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fans of the Dave Matthews Band would be thrilled with the announcement that the band are coming back to Australia.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s been six years since they’ve been on Australian shores as they’re heading down for Bluesfest.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bluesfest is a festival in Byron Bay that starts on April 9</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">th</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and finishes on the 14</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">th</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> of April 2020.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The lineup includes iconic bands such as Crowded House, John Butler, Lenny Kravitz and the Cat Empire. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The festival started back in 1990 and initially had 6,000 attendees. Lenny Kravitz opens up about relationship with ex-fiancée Nicole Kidman

<p>Almost a year after Australian sweetheart <a href="/news/news/2017/02/nicole-kidman-secret-engagement/" target="_blank"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nicole Kidman revealed she was engaged to Lenny Kravitz</span></strong></a> back in 2003, the rock star has finally broken his silence on what he thinks of his ex.</p> <p>“Nicole is amazing,” the <em>Are You Gonna Go My Way</em> singer told <a href="https://www.mrporter.com/journal/the-look/how-mr-lenny-kravitz-keeps-his-cool/2718" target="_blank"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Mr Porter</span></strong></a>. “I have stayed friends with my exes, in most cases.”</p> <p>The 53-year-old added that he was excited when he heard that his daughter, Zoe Kravitz, would be reuniting with Kidman on the set of hit TV series <em>Big Little Lies</em>, which earned the Aussie star an Emmy as well as a Golden Globe nomination.</p> <p>“Zoe and she hadn’t spent time together since she was younger, since Nicole and I were together, so that was great,” Kravitz said.</p> <p>And Zoe was just as excited to reunite with her would-be stepmother, revealing she once lived with her dad and Kidman in Australia. </p> <p>“I hadn’t seen her in a long time before <em>Big Little Lies</em>, but there was a point where we were all kind of living together. I was about 13, and she would take me to see movies; she was so nice to me.”</p> <p>Lenny also remains good friends with ex-wife and Zoe’s mother, Lisa Bonet. </p> <p>“We were mirror images of each other, male and female,” he said. “It was quite extraordinary. I hope to have a great love again. I plan on it.”</p>

Lenny Kravitz learned something truly inspiring from his grandfather

<p>In a candid interview on Oprah’s Master Class, rockstar Lenny Kravitz revealed his maternal grandfather played a big role in his childhood, helping him become the man he is today.</p> <p>“Although he was a grandfather and an older gentleman and somebody who'd been through life, he was always open to new ideas and new ways of thinking,” Kravitz said.</p> <p>Kravitz said what he admired most about his grandfather was his open outlook on life. Even when he reached his golden years, nobody could ever say he was set in his ways.</p> <p>“He would say... 'Let me show you how I did it. These were my steps; if you find a better way, show me,'" Kravitz said in the interview. “He wasn't the kind of older person that was like, ‘This is the way it is and that's it and that's final, because I'm older and I say so.’”</p> <p>It didn’t mean Kravitz grew up without discipline or expectations.  </p> <p>"Although I had to take certain steps and I had to be disciplined... I was also told that I could find my own way," Kravitz says.
