“We’re head over heels in love”: Ben Fordham and Jodie Speers announce the birth of their third child Marigold
<p>Nine presenter Ben Fordham and his wife, Seven News presenter Jodie Speers, have welcomed their third child!</p>
<p>The little girl, named Marigold Jean, was born on the afternoon of September 25 and weighed a healthy 3.85 kilos.</p>
<p>"We are head over heels in love. She's a beautiful little nugget of gold so the name Goldie fits her perfectly," Fordham tells<span> </span><em><a rel="noopener" href="https://celebrity.nine.com.au/latest/celebrity-babies-2019/68f6b5bd-94b4-48b8-bb9e-84151629f5c3#1" target="_blank">9Honey</a></em>.</p>
<p>"She's already feeding well and opening her eyes to take in the world around her."</p>
<p>Fordham was thrilled about the family's new arrival in an Instagram post, which read:</p>
<p>"Marigold Jean Fordham has arrived and we're head over heels in love. Jodie was incredible and Freddy and Pearl are about to meet their gorgeous little sister."</p>
<p>Speers shared her own post saying, "Marigold Jean Fordham — 3.85kgs — arrived yesterday arvo in her own unique style."</p>
<p>Nicknamed "Goldie" for short, she joins big brother Freddy, four, and sister Pearl, who turns two in October.</p>
