Hughesy's damning tirade over the Logies

Dave Hughes has launched into a damning rant live on air over the annual Logie awards, saying he was disappointed to not be invited to this year's ceremony.

Hughesy has hosted and presented the opening monologue of the Logies several times in past years, but even that wasn't enough to score him an invite to the 2024 awards that happened on Sunday.

The comedian and radio and TV regular appeared on The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick on Tuesday, where he launched into a tirade over being snubbed at the event.

“I’ve enjoyed doing the Logies in the past … and look, I wasn’t invited on Sunday night. So, I was just at home, yeah,” Hughes explained.

“So you don’t even get invited if you’re a past host? I thought there’d be a table for you,” host Nick Cody asked.

“I hosted it four times in a row and no invite. No invite! Not even an invite!” responded Hughes, before jokingly shouting: “The amount of losers in that room! I presented for 20 years in a row and didn’t even get an invite.”

Brendan Fevola pointed out, “You’ve got no shows on TV though, why would you get invited?”

“Mate, I pop up on things. I pop up on things! I’m a pop-up guy!” Hughes hit back.

Hughesy's Logies snub comes just two weeks after his radio show was abruptly axed, with breakfast show hosts Hughes, Ed Kavalee and Erin Molan sharing a statement about their sudden departure from 2DayFM.

"We've loved our time together on 2DayFM Breakfast, however, due to some of our families living in different cities we are unable to commit to 2025, so with a heavy heart we are moving aside so 2DayFM can find the team to take them forward in Breakfast," the co-hosts said.

"We are so grateful to Sydney for their support, and to double the number of listeners in three years is something we are immensely proud of, and we will miss each and every one of them."

Image credits: Channel Nine / Instagram

"Get over yourself": Sports fans call out Aussie Olympian's "privileged" rant

Aussie sports fans have seemingly turned on swimming champion Ariarne Titmus after she called out the standard of living in the Olympic village.

Titmus, who took home the gold medal in the 400m freestyle, labelled the conditions for athletes in Paris "ridiculous".

"Living in the Olympic village makes it hard to perform," the 23-year-old said in an interview on Sunday.

"It's definitely not made for high performance, so it's about who can really keep it together in the mind."

Some sports fans haven't received her comments well, with many taking to social media to accuse the athlete of whinging.

"Give me a break, why is it always the Aussies that make excuses?" one person fumed.

Another posted, "Get over yourself, remember how privileged you are to be there ... to complain is really petty."

Others argued that all the athletes in Paris are "in the same boat" so there is no point in complaining.

"Our athletes are becoming a bunch of spoiled whining Australian representatives. If you don't like your situation just leave go home and find a job!" one person said.

Another wrote, "I'm not very impressed if the competitors think that blaming their accommodation for their performance ... get over yourselves, and remember how privileged you are to have the chance to be there."

Australian Swimming head coach Rohan Taylor has also spoken about the conditions of the Olympic village, but said being adaptable is crucial for competitors in France to succeed.

"The Olympics has always been a challenge," he said. "Every Olympics I've been a part of, every Olympic Games that you see, is a test of athletes' ability to come here, compete and perform when it matters."

"It's about how you manage yourself and whatever environments are presented, whatever the beds are, whatever the food is, everybody deals with it."

"The Olympics has always been this way and that's the way it is. And that's the beauty of it."

David Walliams sues BGT over leaked rant

David Walliams is suing Britain's Got Talent over a foul-mouth hot mic rant that was leaked.

The former BGT judge is seeking significant damages after show bosses stunned viewers with the announcement he had quit the show in November 2022 after 10 years on the judging panel.

The comedian abruptly left the show after a transcript of vile comments he made about contestants while his microphone was on during a filming break was made public.

In the leaked transcript he called an elderly gentleman a “c***” three times, and said of another contestant, “She thinks you want to f*** her, but you don’t”.

The vulgar remarks were made during an auditions round at the London Palladium in January 2020, and were then leaked to the media.

After the transcript was made public, Walliams issued a grovelling apology, while his legal team argued he had never intended for his remarks to be heard by contestants or the public.

Despite his apology, Walliams resigned from the show two weeks later.

Walliams, who is a hugely popular figure in the UK, filed legal proceedings at London’s High Court last week.

The star is accusing Fremantle, the studio behind the ITV talent show, of a data protection breach over the leaked transcript which ultimately ended his decade-long judging career.

In a statement issued before he quit, Walliams said, “I would like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain’s Got Talent in 2020."

“These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. British expat cops backlash for calling Australia the "worst country in the world"

British expat and former school teacher Sabrina "Bree" Collins, has faced backlash online after labelling Australia as the "worst country in the world".

The former teacher, who is also a writer, went on an extensive rant on social media about her experience living in Queensland and why she hates it, and the video has since gone viral.

"Australia has destroyed everything that I was before I came here and there's so much that's happened while I've here but it's not safe to go public with everything that's happened to me," she began her rant.

Collins who moved to Australia from the UK, then shared her unsolicited advice for those hoping to migrate Down Under.

"When you're a British woman on the other side of the world, you've really got to sit down and think was it worth it?

"If you're a British person sat home in the UK and you're wondering about this fantastic life you could have in Australia, you need to know a few things first."

She then went on to label Australia as "very sexist", "abusive", "isolated" and "behind".

"The internet is like really behind, technology is behind.

"When you are in Australia you feel really, really isolated. You feel like you're stuck in the 1980s, and if you're a woman it's even worse," she said.

"And I know loads of people are going to contradict what I'm saying and say, 'I'm living a fantastic life in Australia, 'well look at me, look at my CV, look at all my accomplishments before I moved out to Australia, and look at the way I've been treated."

The expat who has a masters degree in education, and more than five years experience as a teacher, has claimed that her career as a teacher was ruined due to the abuse she received.

She claimed that as a result of the abuse, she now feels too frightened to set foot in a school in Australia.

"And that's why I cannot see a purpose or reason to stay in Australia."

She then went on to say that she hopes to move to a "more progressive country" like the US, and write a book about her experiences in Australia.

Her video has not been well-received, with many telling her to leave clowning her for calling the US more progressive.

"Please leave.. and don't trash my country. I've seen yours and you all come over for many reasons," one Aussie commented.

"Don’t let the door hit you on your way out missy!! Bye Felicia," another wrote.

"UK is far more worse than Australia mate. Have lived in both countries here is lot lot better," a third wrote.

"Oh, boo hoo. Please move. As an American, it’s way more backwards than Australia," an American commented on her desire to move to the US.

"You're going to exactly the right place for you. You’ll find the schools are really safe and the police...very safe country for women," another added sarcastically.

Other's pointed out that she was living up to the British stereotype of a "whinging pom".

Collins is not the only British expat to find issue with the way of life in Australia.

A few months ago, another expat went viral for listing things she finds frustrating after living in Australia, although she pleaded for everyone's understanding.

"His worst moment as a person": Sean Penn unleashes on Will Smith's Oscar's slap

Sean Penn has become visibly angry as he recalled the infamous moment at the 2022 Oscars ceremony when Will Smith stormed the stage to slap Chris Rock.

Penn recalled the award ceremony moment as he reflected on the Academy's decision to not let Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speak at the ceremony.

The actor has been a strong advocate for the people of Ukraine in their ongoing war against Russia, and even traveling to the war-torn region to help in their fight.

Speaking to Variety, Penn shared how frustrated he was that Zelenskyy was silenced, while Smith's actions were the real problem.

“The Oscars producer thought, ‘Oh, he’s [Zelenskyy] not lighthearted enough.’ Well, guess what you got instead? Will Smith.”

Variety noted that the actor was visibly infuriated speaking on the subject, even turning red during the interview.

“I don’t know Will Smith. I met him once,” Penn said. “He seemed very nice when I met him. He was so f***ing good in King Richard.”

“So why the f**k did you just spit on yourself and everybody else with this stupid f***ing thing? Why did I go to f***ing jail for what you just did? And you’re still sitting there? Why are you guys standing and applauding his worst moment as a person?” the 63-year-old said, referencing his 1987 arrest and jail stint for punching a film extra in the face.

“This f***ing bulls**t wouldn’t have happened with Zelenskyy,” Penn added. “Will Smith would never have left that chair to be part of stupid violence. It never would have happened.”

Penn was so shocked and infuriated by the moment that he chose to destroy his two Oscars.

"I thought, ‘Well, f**k, you know? I’ll give them to Ukraine. They can be melted down to bullets they can shoot at the Russians,’” he said.

When visiting Zelenskyy in Ukraine last fall, Penn showed his support by giving the leader one of his Oscars.

At the 2022 Oscar's ceremony, Will Smith stormed the stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock after he made a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith.

After returning to his seat, Smith shouted out, “Keep my wife’s name out your f***ing mouth!”

Kyle censored during fiery on-air debate

Kyle Sandilands has been censored during an on-air rant about Indigenous Australians.

The radio shock jock clashed with The Kyle and Jackie O Show newsreader Brooklyn Ross as the pair discussed the proposed Indigenous Voice to Parliament, which would comprise of a body of First Nations Australians and Torres Strait Islanders who can advise the government on matters relating to the social, spiritual and economic wellbeing of their people.

As the pair argued, lengthy portions of Kyle's opinionated rant were censored. However, some of his comments made it to air.

“We have to actually give [Indigenous Australians] money and look after them,” said Ross to which Sandilands replied: “Nah, bulls**t!”

“How about educating people and giving people the chance to build their own life like the rest of us did?” he suggested.

Sandilands has made it clear that he is staunchly opposed to the Voice, as he doesn’t believe a reported $34 billion in funds should be allocated to Indigenous Australians as he thinks the money wasn’t having a positive affect on First Nations communities.

“No one’s really putting all that $34 billion into fixing the real problem. They’re painting houses and giving them this and that,” Sandilands added, before mocking: “’We’ll rename Fraser Island!’”

During his rant, he went on to criticise Welcome to Country traditions that have been adopted into everyday life, which involves a speech typically given at significant events by an elder or custodian to welcome visitors to their traditional country.

“Look, The Project’s thanking people from the past [for] using their land. These things, they’re s**t!” he said. “No one’s better than anyone else. If they’re treated worse, that’s an issue."

After staying silent for most of his tirade, Jackie O chimed in to say she agreed with that part of his outburst.

“Thank you, Jackie. Jackie’s finally popped up," he sarcastically called listeners, before telling her: “I understand you don’t want to get involved in it.”

Rightfully so, said Ross who made Henderson laugh when he said, “[An] angry man and a gay man arguing. And both of us white!”

Andrew O'Keefe claims he is "the victim" in bizarre courtroom rant

Disgraced TV host Andrew O'Keefe has gone on a bizarre rant while appearing in court over charges of assaulting a Sydney sex worker.

The 50-year-old told the Central Local Court magistrate that he was "the victim" in the situation while appearing in court via video link from western Sydney's Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre.

O'Keefe has been incarcerated for over six weeks, and claims he has been "bullied and taunted" by prison officers and guards.

The hearing before Magistrate Lisa Viney was to finalise suppression orders on the identity, appearance or address of the sex worker who alleges he choked her in his apartment on January 25th to the point she had to bite him to break free.

Magistrate Viney discussed the details of a 10 year non-publication order on the alleged choking victim's identity, to which O'Keefe said, "I am predisposed towards accepting (but) I have one query."

O'Keefe went on to claim this order was placed on the grounds of "the complainant's depression and suicide ideality is based on the offence of 25 January", but argued there was "no offence on this date".

When the magistrate explained the order was based on how the extent of publicity from the case had affected the woman's "personal mental health and implications for her family", O'Keefe continued to argue.

"Neither the police nor the court have taken into account the effect on MY mental health ... the effect of ... publicity of this in which I am the victim and am suffering at this very moment from the publicity."

"It is an injustice against me and should not have been brought in the first place."

Dismissing his selfish outburst, Magistrate Viney remanded O'Keefe back into custody, with a hearing date still yet to be set.

Kyle Sandilands defends his "embarrassing" on-air tirade

Kyle Sandilands has returned to his morning radio show after an on-air meltdown on Wednesday, apologising to his co-host while defending his stance.

“Hello Kyle,” co-host Jackie O greeted him carefully at the start of Thursday’s show. “Good to have you back. How are you feeling today?”

“Feeling pretty good, yeah … sort of,” a sheepish Sandilands responded.

“Are you OK over there? You look like you’re going to cry,” Jackie told him.

“Oh, it’s a bit embarrassing, yesterday’s carry-on,” he admitted.

“I felt very justified, but I did get my back up a bit – but that happens among friends.”

Kyle revealed that following his unhinged on-air tirade, in which he berated newsreader Brooklyn Ross for running the Gladys Berejiklian/Scott Morrison leaked texts story, that he had been contacted by reporters for a comment on his outburst.

He admitted that the media coverage of his tantrum made him "look stupid", but went on to defend his stance on what news the radio show runs.

“I did notice a few people comment, ‘what right does Kyle have to decide what the news is?’,” he said.

“Well, every right, because I run the show. I’m not an employee... I don’t work for anyone.”

The radio shock jock admitted that he felt "out of my mind" with anger when he left the KIIS building after walking off the live radio broadcast.

“I was so angry when I was leaving here, I did a huge burnout out the driveway, it was wet so the whole car was going sideways... and I didn’t care if I died,” Sandilands joked.

“I was out of my mind.”

Kyle also apologised to Jackie O for calling her an "idiot" during his rant, while admitting he didn't realise how long it had gone for.

“I was reading an article yesterday, and it said I went on a 12-minute meltdown. Was it 12 minutes? Of me continually screaming and carrying on?” Sandilands asked his co-hosts.

The on-air meltdown was prompted after Kyle deemed the politicians' text leaking scandal not newsworthy for their show, claiming it was "over nothing".

“This is the biggest news in Australia, and it’s all over nothing. So what if the ex-Premier called the prime minister a horrible, horrible person? I’ve called everyone here an effing C in text messages. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gladys was just pacifying whatever loser Minister she was talking to,” Sandilands began.

“This is not real news. Don’t make up fictitious bulls**t drama over nothing.”

US banker fired and charged after a racist tirade over a smoothie

A wealthy US banker has been fired from his job and charged with a hate crime after a video of him berating young staff in a smoothie shop has gone viral.

James Iannazzo, 48, threw a smoothie at a teenage employee before calling her a "f**king immigrant", all while other staff filmed his racist rant.

The bizarre encounter erupted after a visibly irate Mr Iannazzo returned to the store in Connecticut after an hour earlier ordering a smoothie that contained peanuts, which caused his highly allergic son to have a reaction and require hospitalisation, according to authorities.

According to a police report, Mr Iannazzo ordered the drink without peanut butter, but did not mention his son's allergy to the workers.

The video captured by an employee shows Mr Iannazzo demanding to know who made the original drink, before lashing out and calling the staffers “f**king stupid, f**king ignorant high school kids”.

He then allegedly called one of the workers a "f**king b***h" before hurling the drink at her, striking her shoulder.

Mr Iannazzo continued his expletive-ridden tirade before calling the employee he hit with the drink a "f**king immigrant".

The video was originally posted to TikTok and Twitter where it has amassed over 16 million views, and thousands of comments blasting the man's behaviour.

A spokesman for the man's employer Merrill Lynch told the New York Post that Mr Iannazzo was fired from the wealth management firm as a direct result of the incident.

“Our company does not tolerate behaviour of this kind. We immediately investigated and have taken action. This individual is no longer employed at our firm,” a statement said.

After initially fleeing the store before police arrived at the call of an employee, Mr Iannazzo later turned himself in.

He told a local news station that he freaked out after his son's reaction to the drink, causing him to return to the store.

“My son lost the capacity to breathe properly; his lips and face swelled up, and he required an EpiPen shot, but it did not offer him relief,” Mr Iannazzo told WTNH. “I called 911. My son then went to the bathroom, threw up and fell unconscious to the floor. He threw up again. My wife gave him another EpiPen while I called 911 again. Thank God, he is doing okay.”

“I was out of my mind with fear for him when I returned to Robeks, and I wish I had not done so,” Mr Iannazzo said. “I also wish they had been more careful preparing my son’s beverage. I will be extending my apologies personally to the Robeks organization, particularly the staff that was working there that night.”

“My actions at Robeks were wrong, and I deeply regret them. They do not reflect my values or my character. I feel terrible that I lost my composure so completely,” he said.

Mr Iannazzo has since been charged with intimidation based on bigotry or bias, breach of peace and criminal trespass.

Image credits: TikTok / Fairfield Police Department

Hillsong founder's daughter rants against media scrutiny

The daughter of Hillsong founder Brian Houston has attacked the media in an online rant, while defending the religious group's party that outraged Australia.

Laura Toggs, one of Brian's two children, is a pastor of Hillsong's "youth ministry" along with her husband Peter, and the pair are believed to be the key organisers of the recent youth camp in Newcastle.

The event caused outrage across Australia, as music festivals and concerts were cancelled due to a new public health order, yet the event was allowed to go ahead on a religious basis as attendees were filmed partying maskless.

Hillsong Church later apologised for the "perception that we were not playing our part to keep NSW safe ... we sincerely apologise to the community at large."

Despite their apology, Laura Toggs took to Instagram to slam the media in the wake of the controversy against the religious group.

"I have watched the media willingly disregard any fairness for the sake of click-bait and to suit whatever profit they make off their agendas," she wrote.

She labelled the media coverage of the event as "disgusting", "horrible", "immoral" and "low", and went on to claim the news outlets were "destroying peoples' lives one cheap headline at a time."

While Ms Toggs didn't share any of the "disgusting" news articles that seemingly slated her event, she said it was "heartbreaking to watch people believe the lies".

She went on to tell her followers that if they wanted to fill their minds with these sources, "then go ahead and buy into whatever s*** they spoon feed you."

"But if you want truth to frame your heart and soul and mind, let the Bible be your source of wisdom and truth and guidance."

After sharing a video that addressed the camp party, she told followers she was "mad".

"I'm mad at the media reports that made our youth camps not only a national disgrace but an international news story."

Laura continued on her rant by claiming the government has changed the rules on the organisation due to "media pressure", and not because of rising Omicron cases.

"There is a clear agenda to drag Hillsong through the mud and to destroy our name," Ms Toggs claimed.

After the public backlash of the event, NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet said Hillsong would escape a fine for the camp part, but said the organisers should face the consequences of flouting Covid restrictions.

Laura ended her rant by urging her followers to "turn off the news, turn to the Word of God".

As news of the event broke, Mr Perrottet said that he understood why the camp party angered so many Australians.

"I echoed the frustration and anger other people right across the state felt," he said.

"Even if technically it was within the rules, it certainly wasn't in the spirit of the rules. If we have to tighten loopholes, we will."

Abbie Chatfield destroys Sam Frost over anti-vax rant

As Home and Away star Sam Frost broke down on Instagram detailing why she is not getting vaccinated, Abbie Chatfield let loose.

On Saturday, Sam Frost took to Instagram and became emotional in her live video, saying, “There are a lot of different reasons people aren’t getting vaccinated – and it might be because of their medical history, their concerns they might have, they might have family history, it might be religious reasons, whatever.”

“I want to tell those people that feel like they’re getting separated from society – well, I’m not vaccinated, and there’s a reason why I’m not, I’ve spoken to my doctor and my psychologist about it, and I’m going to keep it private,” she said.

Sam then begged people to have “compassion, kindness and empathy” for the unvaccinated, before deleting her Instagram later that day.

Former Bachelor star Abbie Chatfield, who has been outspoken about the selfishness of the anti-vax community, write on her own Instagram on Sunday, “I mean, it kinda speaks for itself. Lisa Wilkinson slams Gladys Berejiklian in explosive rant

The Project's Lisa Wilkinson couldn't hide her fury at NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and her lack of communication over the latest NSW lockdown rules.

Host Waleed Aly agreed with Wilkinson, saying that history was starting to repeat itself.

“It reminds me so much of the situation in Melbourne last year where you had people from low-income areas with insecure work that couldn’t take time off to get tested and it was only after the outbreak reached those points where people went, oh my God, that is a bit of a problem,” he said.

“I don’t understand why lessons aren’t being learned? Is it just too hard or they aren’t watching to see what the lessons are? I’m genuinely confused by this?” he concluded.

Wilkinson placed the blame on the NSW Premier, saying that her relaxed stance is what's causing the COVID-19 cases to spike.

“I think everybody in Sydney is it confused as well,” she admitted.

“Right from the beginning of this, Gladys Berejiklian was refusing to call it a lockdown and that was the most important moment of communication.

“We all knew, and still know, that the Delta variant is so much more transmissible and she never adopted a stance that made it look like she was taking this more seriously, but she had every reason to.”

“She had the Prime Minister at the same time saying, Gladys is the gold standard of how you do these sorts of lockdowns, and so Sydney has kind of been confused and it’s no surprise to anybody that the numbers are the way they are. The word I’m hearing a lot from my Sydney friends that they are ‘confused’.”

Bad news out of Sydney, with overnight community transmission cases the highest in over a year. The saddest message out of all of that is that people with the virus are passing it on to those they love the most.”

Piers Morgan quits after Oprah rant

British TV presenter Piers Morgan has quickly left his job on the ITV show Good Morning Britain after an on-air rant about the Meghan and Harry interview with Oprah.

“Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain,” the network said in a curt statement today.

“ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”

He received immediate backlash for his claims about Meghan Markle, after saying that he didn't believe her struggle with suicidal thoughts.

ITV's chief executive later revealed that she did believe Markle and said that Kevin Lygo, ITV's top programmer for media and entertainment had spoken with Morgan in recent days.

She said Mr Lygo was “speaking to him on a regular basis and has done so the last couple of days”, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Asked whether Morgan would lose his ITV job over the issue, Ms McCall said: “We are dealing with that as we speak.”

She said that “the most important thing with mental health that ITV does and is totally committed to, is that we support, we get people to speak up, we listen, we say everyone has to listen and everyone has to believe because that’s how you get people to speak up. He walked behind his mother’s coffin at a tender, tender age in front of the globe. That is going to shape a young boy for the rest of his life. So I think that we need to all take a step back.”

Speaking directly to Morgan, Beresford said he “understands” that Morgan doesn’t like Meghan, telling him “you’ve made it so clear a number of times on this program, a number of times”.

“And I understand that you’ve got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle, or had one and she cut you off. She’s entitled to cut you off if she wants to,” he added.

“Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don’t think she has, yet you continue to trash her.”

Morgan got up and left his chair, saying he was “done with this” before storming out of the studio. Beresford said that was “pathetic” as Morgan strode out, adding: “Sorry, can’t do this.”

“This is absolutely diabolical behaviour, I’m sorry but Piers spouts off on a regular basis and we all have to sit there and listen. 6.30 to 7 yesterday was incredibly hard to watch,” Beresford said.

"Respect your partner": Man criticised for rant about wife

A husband who has been working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic has been slammed online for complaining about his stay-at-home wife.

He took to Reddit to say that his spouse isn't keeping their toddler twins quiet while he's working.

“So as many of you have been doing in these times, I’m currently doing work from home,” the husband said.

“I have a wife and two toddlers (twins). I need silence to work and I don’t have a home office.

“It has been slowly ****ing me off because I am working hours and I hear noises such as my wife talking, watching TV, kids playing from the other room.

“I have been VERY patient with them telling more than once that I need 100% silence to focus but even if they are trying to be ‘quiet’ I still hear some noises (kids, walking around, making food, cleaning etc).”

The rant went up to another level, as he said that the "least they (his family) can give me is peace and quiet while I do my job".

“I got fed up with it and told my wife off, I’m the one working in this family and paying for everything,” he said.

“The least they can give me is peace and quiet while I do my job.

“My wife is a stay-at-home mum and it’s her job to be silent and shut the kids up.

“If I don’t have complete silence, I cannot work and therefore could lose my job.

“My wife on the other hand doesn’t appreciate any of it. When I wasn’t working from home, she would ask me to do chores after work and take care of the kids when I am obviously very tired and needing to wind down and relax for the night.

“Then when I’m off on the weekend, I’m still expected to help out.

“I would remind her that that’s her job as a stay-at-home mum, but she refuses to listen to me because ‘it’s my kids and my home too’.”

People were already irritated with the anonymous man's claims, saying that they wanted to help out the mother.

"How do I divorce her husband for her?" one user joked.

However, things got worse as the husband claimed he was being disrespected in their marriage.

“It hurts that she doesn’t appreciate how hard I work or my feelings. I do my part by supporting this family financially, if it wasn’t for me we wouldn’t have a roof over our heads or food to eat,” he said.

“But despite me voicing my feelings she not only has the nerve to disturb my work but also expects me to work more afterwards.

“My wife is angry at me and refuses to back down. The worst part? She claimed that I don’t appreciate her.

“I work very hard and I feel like I deserve to have my feelings considered.”

The man was met with a wall of criticism from disbelieving Reddit and Facebook users.

"You sound like you don't appreciate your wife at all," one user said bluntly.

"Remember that you get breaks from your paid work; your wife gets none from her unpaid work. What kind of AH expects complete silence from toddlers?"

"You have two jobs - one of them is being a parent," another pointed out. "So yep, when you're not doing your other job, that's when parenting comes into play. It doesn't sound like you appreciate her at all."

"Get some sound proof headphones and respect your PARTNER. Notice, I say partner, not slave or maid."

“I’ve never met a toddler who could be silent EVER! Let alone two. Let alone for months on end. Dude must be crazy,” said another.

“You’re f***ing gone”: Furious Tom Cruise lashes out on set of Mission Impossible

Furious Tom Cruise has ripped into workers who broke COVID rules on the set of Mission: Impossible, screaming: “If I see you doing it again, you’re f***ing gone.”

The Hollywood superstar has gone the extra mile to make sure tight social-distancing rules were being implemented during the filming, which is taking place in Britain.

And after coming across two of the crew members standing within two metres of each other, he quickly flew into a rage.

The Sun published the audio recording, which heard Cruise shouting: “If I see you do it again, you’re f***ing gone. And if anyone in this crew does it, that’s it — and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f***ing do it again.”

50 staff members at Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, Herts, were left shocked by the angry outburst.

The 58-year-old was furious that his efforts to keep filming going during a pandemic could be at risk.

He went on: “They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us. “We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherf***ers.

“That’s it. No apologies. You can tell it to the people that are losing their f***ing homes because our industry is shut down. “

“We are not shutting this f***ing movie down. Is it understood? If I see it again, you’re f***ing gone.”

A source said: “Tom has taken it upon himself, along with the health and safety department, to try to force the safety precautions, with a view to keeping the film running.

“He does daily rounds to make sure that everything is set up appropriately, that people are behaving and working as safely as they can. He is very proactive when it comes to safety.”

They added: “Everyone was wearing masks. It was purely that these people were standing under a metre away from each other.

“It isn’t known whether he saw those guys breaking the rules before or whether this was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

“People make mistakes and they slip up, but Tom is just on it.”

Tom’s rant, in full:

“We want the gold standard. They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us! Because they believe in us and what we’re doing!

I’m on the phone with every f***ing studio at night, insurance companies, producers, and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies. We are creating thousands of jobs you motherf***ers.

I don’t ever want to see it again, ever! And if you don’t do it you’re fired, if I see you do it again you’re f***ing gone. And if anyone in this crew does it – that’s it, and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f***ing do it again.

That’s it! No apologies. You can tell it to the people that are losing their f***ing homes because our industry is shut down. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education.

That’s what I sleep with every night. The future of this f***ing industry! So I’m sorry I am beyond your apologies. I have told you and now I want it and if you don’t do it you’re out. We are not shutting this f***ing movie down! Is it understood?

If I see it again you’re f***ing gone — and you are — so you’re going to cost him his job, if I see it on the set you’re gone and you’re gone.

That’s it. Am I clear?

Do you understand what I want? Do you understand the responsibility that you have? Because I will deal with your reason. And if you can’t be reasonable and I can’t deal with your logic, you’re fired. That’s it. That is it.

I trust you guys to be here. That’s it. That’s it guys. Have a little think about it …[inaudible].

That’s what I think of Universal and Paramount. Warner Brothers. Movies are going because of us. If we shut down it’s going to cost people f***ing jobs, their home, their family. That’s what’s happening.

All the way down the line. And I care about you guys, but if you’re not going to help me you’re gone. OK? Do you see that stick? How many metres is that?

When people are standing around a f***ing computer and hanging out around here, what are you doing? And if they don’t comply then send their names to Matt Spooner. That’s it.”

A Melbourne resident tried to spread joy to her community by drawing on footpaths in chalk, but has since been labelled a "pretentious pr**k" by one of her neighbours.

Fiona Cracknell set up Cracknell Chalk Drawings to showcase her chalk designs on Facebook.

“I started drawing for my beautiful 3 year old daughter, had no idea it would impact my local neighbourhood while in lockdown this much,” Ms Cracknell wrote on the page.

However, another resident took issue with the drawings and has since complained to council.

“Someone has complained to the Council about my chalk drawing. Calling me a pretentious p**ck and that I am graffitiing,” Ms Cracknell wrote on the Facebook page on Thursday.

“First of all I was doing to bringing joy to the community [sic], not cause drama and second, the Coucil loves it. For the first time in ages I have brought positive news to Gladstone Park.

“I cannot believe this! I am really upset and angry. All I wanted was to make people smile at a time they needed it the most.”

The letter was sent in anonymously and called the artwork "destructive graffiti".

“I’ve copied the letter to the pretentious p**cks at that house in the hope they will see this letter as a warning and cease their crap,” the letter says.

“They may also get it into their skulls that graffiti of council land is illegal.
