And, as you can see in the gallery above, there’s a new reason to visit.
This charming, Great Ocean Road beach house has been opened up to holidaymakers around the country and provides a great place to rest your head in Apollo Bay. Literally 100 steps to the water, this house features spacious desks and a view that can’t be beat.
A spacious sliding door and open plan living area lets you to make the most of sunny days, while also letting you batten down the houses and snuggle next to the fire in winter.
Apollo Bay is a beautiful little coastal town in southwestern Victoria which is the perfect place to stop on your journey along the Great Ocean Road. The locals are friendly and will be keen to have a chat at the Saturday market. There’s also plenty of opportunities for fishing, swimming, walking and seeing natural wildlife like koalas, wallabies and (if you’re lucky) whales.
