Jelena Dokic shares exciting news
Former tennis champion Jelena Dokic has announced that a new tell-all documentary about her life is soon to be realised.
The film is titled Unbreakable, which is the same title as her first book, and will document Dokic’s life from a young kid under the control of her abusive father, all the way through her tennis career and eventual attainment of peace and happiness.
“The trailer for Jelena Dokic’s Unbreakable documentary is so chilling,” tennis commentator Christian’s Court said.
“It is set to release Nov. 7 in Australia and internationally sometime in 2025 on streaming,” while the producer's of the show saying, “This is the story of Jelena Dokic’s extraordinary survival.”
Dokic shared the news on Instagram, posting the trailer for the doco and welcoming messages of congratulations from friends and fans.
The former tennis champion has long been very open about her mental health struggles and the abuse she suffered as a child at the hands of her father.
She has also been praised for her recent work in the body image space, advocating for all people to feel comfortable in their own skin.
