Celine Dion speaks out after dramatic weight loss
Celine Dion has hit back at body shamers about her sudden weight loss, saying that if they don’t like the way she looks, they should “leave [her] alone”.
Dion shocked fans with her gaunt appearance in Paris, whilst attending Fashion Week.
However, this didn’t stop the My Heart Would Go On singer from firing back at those who have raised their concern.
The 50-year-old spoke on The Dan Wotton Interview podcast about the comments and criticism saying:
“I want to feel strong, beautiful, feminine and sexy. If I like it, I don’t want to talk about it,” she expressed.
“Don’t bother. Don’t take a picture. If you like it, I’ll be there. If you don’t, leave me alone.”
It’s possible the mother-of-three feels more outspoken since launching her new gender-neutral clothing line for children, called Celinununu.
She told the Huffington Post:
“I feel that now I have a voice, which is kinda weird as that’s what I’ve been doing all my life – using my voice, but in singing and performing,” she said.
“But I use my voice as well for things that I choose I want to do and things that I say to my team I don’t want to do.”
