Keith Richards sells luxury New York penthouse at a loss for $13 million
Rock legend Keith Richards has finally sold his Greenwich Village penthouse in New York for US$9.95 million (AU$13.1 million), four years after he bought the luxury home with model wife Patti Hansen.
The Rolling Stones guitarist, who purchased the Fifth Avenue home for US$10.5 million (AU$13.9 million) in 2014, had listed the home at a lower price after it failed to sell in 2016 at the asking price of US$12.23 million.
The penthouse features a 47-foot-long living, dining and entertainment space. There are four bedrooms, two on each floor, and each boast en suite bathrooms.
The master suite also features two walk-in wardrobes, whilst the home has access to three private terraces with views of New York City and Washington Square Park.
