Kate and William have banned this one item from their kids
If you’ve got a young grandchild, you’ll know just how hard it can be to keep them away from screens, and it seems even the royals have the same problem.
According to Us Weekly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have banned iPads for their little ones. “They’re very much seen as Mummy and Daddy’s toys, not for children,” a source revealed.
“As two people who grew up without gadgets for entertainment themselves, William and Kate are firm believers in toys, outdoor play and encouraging an active imagination.”
However, it seems the rule is quite a new one, given that Prince William told a local in New York City in 2014 that George was “loving” playing iPad games. “He told me […] that this was a good way to teach him the inner workings of electronics,” Ayah Bdeir told The Telegraph at the time.
iPads or not, we’re sure the royal cuties will grow up to be just as humble and down-to-earth as their parents.
