What popular websites looked like 15 years ago

The year was 2000. The millennium was celebrated with gusto (and thankfully, no disaster despite all the predictions) with little idea of how much the world – at least the World Wide Web – was going to change in the next 15 years. These old school versions of popular websites very much illustrate how much the internet and technology have changed in such a short amount of time.
