"That's it. I'm out.": Edwina Bartholomew's hilarious reaction to new study

Edwina Bartholomew has hilariously “quit” her gig at Sunrise after presenting a grim story on motherhood.

The TV presenter was not one happy presenter as she revealed live on TV the research regarding pregnant mothers.

Experts studied 33 mothers during their pregnancies and the first year of their babies’ lives.

Through their research, they analysed their DNA to determine their “biological age”, which can differ from chronological age.

A year after birthday, the biological age of those who slept less than seven hours a night at the six-month mark was three to seven years older than those who slept for seven hours or more.

“Between covid, climate change and everything else that’s happened this week... that is it, I’m out, I quit,” she said.

“That is the worst news ever,” she laughed, after scrunching her paper and throwing it across the room.

Bartholomew is the mother of one-year-old daughter named Molly.

Co-host Natalie Bar wondered why researchers felt the need to have a study when most mums already knew the results.

“But also, isn’t that a bit of a derr moment, didn’t we already know that?” the mother-of-two asked.

“A lot of the world have been mothers, so they could have just asked them?!”
