Police in Victoria are on a deep dive trying to hunt down the thieves who stole an entire seven-metre-long swimming pool.
In a statement on Tuesday, Victoria Police said the “very large” fibreglass pool was stolen on October 20th from a construction site on Moncrieff Crescent in Wandana Heights, Victoria.
Police believe the offender, or offenders, who stole the pool entered the construction site between 10:30 pm and 11 pm on the 20th.
A truck was used to load the pool, which is worth $14,000, before driving away.
“The truck had grey/silver tape or plastic covering what may be a company name on both sides of the cab as well as yellow ‘oversize’ signs on the front and rear,” police said.
To help with the investigation, Victoria Police have released images of the truck leaving the premises.
The pool was by the brand ‘modern pool’ and is a slate colour.
