Daniel Craig explains why his children will inherit nothing

Daniel Craig has zero plans to leave an inheritance to his children.

He admitted during an interview with UK’s Candis magazine that he finds the practice of leaving money to descendants “distasteful”.

"Isn't there an old adage that if you die a rich person, you've failed?" he said.

"I think Andrew Carnegie gave away what in today's money would be about 11 billion dollars, which shows how rich he was because I'll bet he kept some of it, too.

“But I don't want to leave great sums to the next generation."

He went on to add: “I think inheritance is quite distasteful.

"My philosophy is get rid of it or give it away before you go."

Craig has a reported net worth of US$160 million (approx. $220 million).

He has three children, Ella, 29, Henry, 15 and a daughter he welcomed into the world in 2018.
