ALDI Special Buys often cause hysteria amongst the masses due to the large savings and limited demand of items. The Deebot vacuum is no exception to this rule.

ALDI teamed up with Exovacs Robotics’ to offer a DEEBOT OZMO 610 as a Special Buy, which was cutting the original price tag of the vacuum in half.

ALDI were selling the item for $299, a steep drop down from the usual $600 retail mark.

Due to the high demand of the item, many shoppers reported that it sold out at their local ALDI in ten seconds.

The vacuum is a robot vacuum that allows you to set cleaning times, set cleaning modes and check the status of cleaning via your mobile phone. No wonder it sold out so quickly.

Tammy from ALDI Lovers AU told news.com.au that the frenzy in stores left many customers disappointed.

“Stores sold out within minutes and I’m hearing from my followers that some only had maybe 7-10 of them in stock.

“I’m currently trying to find out what stores still have any in stock as I’m being inundated by people asking.”

Many ALDI fans are leaving comments on Tammy’s Instagram, AldiLoversAU, wishing that they had their hands on the vacuum.

“Apparently all sold out in SA. Has anyone seen any?” one commenter asked.

“Does anyone know of anywhere in WA that still has some? Missed out because I was working L” commented another.

The demand for these vacuums is nationwide, but it’s not the first time ALDI have managed to whip people into a frenzy over their items. This was the case with a $199 rocking chair that caused some stores to introduce a ticketing system.
