Woolies worker wins $1 million Lotto jackpot then does something no one expected
A Perth woman has won a $1 million Lotto jackpot, but says she has no plans to quit her supermarket job as a night-fill worker at her local Woolies.
The 47-year-old, who asked to remain nameless, is the 53rd division one winner for Western Australia this year after purchasing her ticket at Rockingham.
The woman and her husband were reportedly bouncing off the walls with excitement.
“We haven’t really slept or eaten much in the past 24 hours,” he said.
“We shop daily at Rockingham City but after we checked our ticket and found out that we’d won a million bucks, I couldn’t remember the way out of the car park.”
“We must’ve driven around in circles for about 10 minutes,” he laughed.
What would you do? Would you leave your job if you won the million?
