Chrissie Swan shares her new favourite lunch recipe

Chrissie Swan has completely transformed her figure thanks to eating healthy, daily walks and cutting out alcohol.

The 48-year-old radio star has revealed one of the healthy lunches she swears by, posting a delicious soba noodle salad.

Chrissie said she loves making a crunchy chili oil soba noodle salad with avocado for an easy and 'delicious' lunch. Once the noodles are cooked, chives, avocado and chili oil are added.

She previously revealed on Instagram that one of her family's favourite salads was made up of iceberg lettuce, avocado, goats cheese, cucumber and dressing.

Chrissie briefly touched on her weight loss to this week, saying the 'enormous' lifestyle changes she'd made over the last year had improved her life in so many ways.

'I'm not going to talk about the size of my a**e. I'm not going to tell you what I eat in a day. Because I've read those stories and they make me feel bad about myself,' she said.

However, she did confirm Melbourne's lengthy Covid lockdown was the catalyst for her health and fitness kick.

'We couldn't go out to dinner, we couldn't go to a friend's house, they couldn't come to us, we couldn't go outside five kilometres. All we could do was walk, and so that's what I did,' she said.

Chrissie began walking only short distances, but steadily increased her fitness and now walks for two hours per day.The media personality, who hosts the Chrissie, Sam and Browny breakfast show on Nova, gave up alcohol more than a year ago as part of a health kick.

She also turned to meditation and daily 10km walks to improve her physical and mental health during Melbourne's 112-day lockdown.
