Johnny Ruffo picture of health on night out with girlfriend
There’s no denying Johnny Ruffo has had it rough recently, having been diagnosed with brain cancer just two months ago. But the ever-positive former Home and Away star looked the picture of health last night as he took a break from treatment to attend the Sydney premiere of Thor: Ragnarok with partner Tahnee Sims.
The 29-year-old looked dapper and very happy as he posed for photos with his supportive girlfriend, 23, by his side.
It appears Ruffo’s condition is certainly on the up, with the singer and actor enjoying a busy, fun-filled weekend. Taking to Instagram, he shared a sweet snap of the couple attending a friend’s wedding just hours before the premiere.
Last month, Ruffo opened up about his diagnosis, revealing just how lucky he was to discover the tumour – which was 7cm big – before it was too late.
“The neurosurgeon said it could’ve been growing anywhere from 2 to 10 years. He said to me, ‘Look, you know, if you hadn’t come in when you did you would’ve died that night. You would’ve had a brain aneurysm and not woken up at all.’”
