It's been four months since Lisa and Grant Kenny's oldest daughter Jaimi passed away on September 14th after a private battle with a long-term battle.

The pain is still fresh for the family, as Lisa marked the time in a heartbreaking Instagram post and recounted the moment the family learned about Jaimi's fate.

"Four months ago, the doctor gave us the news we had dreaded for years, that Jaimi would not survive the night," she began.

"It was like they just ripped our hearts out. Total disbelief ... and even though we had prepared ourselves for the worst for weeks, months and even years and thought we were prepared... nothing... absolutely nothing prepares you for that moment or those words.

"Our beautiful girl couldn't beat the enemy... but she fought and fought.. every single day.😢 We miss her so much🌸❤️"

She also shared another snap of her daughter in "her happy space" as Jaimi looked delighted at a bouquet of flowers.

"Jaimi, in her happy space," Lisa wrote.

Fans were incredibly supportive of her posts, sending her strength.

" You probably don’t even know how many people you’ve helped in writing these words. Love and strength to you too," one fan wrote.

"A beautiful tribute. I'm so desperately sorry for your pain," another wrote.

Another fan said she hopes Lisa finds peace.

"Love to you. Your courage, emotion, devotion and love shines through. It is breathtakingly beautiful. May you find peace."
