Priscilla Presley looks stunning in white dress at Melbourne races
Priscilla Presley looked as glamorous as ever as she arrived at Flemington Racecourse on Thursday, before being swamped by waiting photographers.
The 72-year-old, who was married to Elvis Presley, stood against a flower wall in a white tight dress with a mesh overlay.
The Hollywood star paired her dress with a pink hat and dark heels.
In an interview before her appearance at Ladies Day, Priscilla explained how excited she was to be attending the iconic racing event.
“I have quite a history with horses,’’ she told the Herald Sun.
“I’ve been riding since I was a kid. I’d ride every day around the grounds at Graceland. It’s quite the deal, ladies’ day."
Priscilla explained that Americans aren’t in to hats as much as Australians and she was looking forward to seeing all the racing fashion.
The star arrived in Melbourne after beginning the tour of her show Elvis And Me: An Evening With Priscilla Presley in Perth last weekend.
Recently, Priscilla made international headlines when it was reported that she had quit the Church of Scientology.
While it is rumoured Priscilla denied leaving, one of her tour insiders confirmed to The West she is no longer a member.
“She is completely out of it," an insider said.
“She says she lives a normal life."
