All the sweet birthday wishes for Meghan from the Royal Family
Meghan Markle is celebrating 40 laps around the sun.
To celebrate the momentous occasion, the British Royal family have shared tributes to the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan is currently at her home in Los Angeles with her husband Prince Harry and children Archie, two, and Lilibet, two months.
From the official Royal Family profile, which represents the Queen along with other royals, a series of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex posing with their eldest son were shared.
"🎈 Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday today!" the caption said.
Prince William and Duchess Kate also shared their own message to their own Kensington Royal Twitter page.
"Wishing a happy 40th birthday to The Duchess of Sussex! 🎂,” the message read.
The photo they shared was of Meghan wearing a lei on Bondi Beach, during the Sussexes' 2018 tour Down Under.
Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall shared a birthday message too, writing: "Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday. 🎈.”
Other royals from the extended Windsor family are yet to post any messages to the Duchess.
Meghan and Harry have made it a personal mission to keep out of the limelight on their birthdays.
On Meghan’s 37th birthday, the couple attended Harry’s friend’s wedding in Surrey.
For her 38th, the pair spent a day away from the cameras and other family in their Frogmore Cottage.
Last year, the Sussexes celebrated at home together in Montecito, as they will for Meghan’s 40th.
