"An inspiration": John Farnham's son shares sweet tribute
John Farnham’s son James has shared an old picture of his dad to celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary.
The star is married to Jillian Billman and they have two children, James and Robert.
James took to Instagram to share the throwback pic of John and Jillian, an image of the couple at a Singapore restaurant in 2016.
“Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary to my amazing parents!” James started the caption.
“They are an inspiration to me and I strive to have the same relationship as mum and dad have had.
“Love them both to the end of earth and would do anything for either one of them. Love you Mum and Dad. Congratulations.”
James is currently training to become a helicopter pilot and his brother Robert seems to be following in his father’s footsteps.
Robert sings in a band named Rival Fire and got the chance to be the supporting act for the iconic rockers KISS in 2022.
Their parents hold one of the longest marriages in the industry, tying the knot all the way back in 1973.
The post comes after John Farnham’s hospitalisation due to a lung infection not long after he was hospitalised for mouth cancer surgery, where he underwent an 11-hour surgery.
Entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins shared a health update on Farnham’s condition after he was released from hospital.
