Baby albino dolphin delights whale watchers
Whale watchers were treated to a rare sight on the water off California last week.
Footage shows an albino dolphin calf swimming with its pod. The Risso dolphin is traditionally grey with stout noses.
Albinism has been found in more than 20 species of ocean mammals, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. It is however rare in dolphins.
Albino dolphins are not believed to be inherently weaker than regular dolphins, but their colour can make them targets for predators.
