Bindi Irwin’s newborn daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, got to make some new fluffy friends at her family’s Australia Zoo.

Terri Irwin, Bindi’s mother, posted a cute photo on Twitter of herself holding her three-week old granddaughter, crouching down to greet two chickens.

Alongside the photo, Terri wrote, ‘Introducing Grace to some of the animals living in her backyard @AustraliaZoo.’

Bindi retweeted the photo, writing, ‘The most wonderful moment.’

Bindi, 22, announced Grace’s birth on March 25 in a post celebrating the birth and her anniversary with her husband, Chandler Powell.

‘March 21, 2021. Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter,’ she wrote.

Bindi revealed her daughter’s middle name was a tribute to her late father, Steve Irwin. Her post continued, ‘Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light. Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior.’

Steve Irwin passed away at 44, after being injured by a stingray off the Australian coast in 2006.

‘Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad,’ Bindi wrote.

‘There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.’

Following her marriage to Powell, 24, on March 25, 2020 in a private and socially-distanced ceremony at the zoo, Bindi announced she was expecting her first child with Powell in August.
