Larry Emdur shares sweet message after his daughter’s engagement
Larry Emdur has shared a sweet message to celebrate his daughter’s engagement.
The Morning Show host posted photos of his daughter Tia, 23, and her new fiance Rowell Jauco after he popped the question on Sunday.
Larry was over the moon at his daughter’s exciting news, posting a gushing tribute to the happy couple.
“All a father like me can hope and pray for is that one day his baby girl finds a partner who will love and adore, respect and admire, cherish and protect her the way he’s tried to,” Emdur wrote.
“Well, that partner has arrived and we feel very very blessed. Congratulations on your engagement, you two love birds.
“Rowell thank you for being a bit ol’ fashioned and asking me if you could ask Tia for her hand in marriage. I was trying to be a mature, tough dad but I think I just cried.
“Welcome to our crazy family, we’re looking forward to millions of special moments with you two.”
Emdur went on to joke that he had arranged for a whole host of his celebrity mates to take part in the wedding “to save money”.
The list included Rove McManus as MC, Guy Sebastian as wedding singer, Manu Feildel running the catering and Grant Denyer as “back-up father, in case I’m too emotional to walk you down the aisle”.
