Lisa Curry's emotional birthday tribute
Lisa Curry has shared a heartwarming tribute to her son, Jett Kenny on his 29th birthday.
The former Olympic swimmer took to Instagram to share a series of photos of the mother-son duo throughout the years.
“Happy Birthday my beautiful boy💙,” she began the tribute.
Jett, you are one of a kind and I’m so proud of the man you have become.
“The love a mother has for her only son is something that you feel in your heart every waking moment.
“I love you, love mum."
Lisa shared a collage of photos, with the first one of a young Jett hugging his mum's leg after going for a swim, a heartfelt quote, and another photo of an all-grown up Jett standing next to his mum
The quote read: “Son, I closed my eyes for but a moment and suddenly a man stood where a boy used to be."
“I may not carry you now in my arms but I will always carry you in my heart.
“You have given me so many reasons to be proud of the man you have become, but the proudest moment for me is telling others that you are my son.
“I love you now and forever.”
In another set of photos, Lisa created a collage of Jett at various ages from when he was a baby to teenager.
Fans took to the comments to share their birthday wishes, and share fond memories of their own sons growing up.
