Princess Mary shares rare photos of twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine
Australia’s own royalty Crown Princess Mary has shared rare pictures of her twin children in celebration of their eighth birthday.
In the three images, which were captured by the Princess herself and shared on the Danish Palace’s official Instagram account, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine could be seen posing at a Danish countryside.
“Today Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine fill eight years, and on the occasion of the birthday, the Crown Princess has the joy to share a series of new pictures of their royal highnesses,” the Instagram caption said.
The twins are the youngest children of Princess Mary and Prince Frederik. The couple’s oldest child, Prince Christian, is 13 years old, while the second, Princess Isabella, is 11 years old.
The portraits represented some of Princess Mary’s latest photography works. Within the past few months, numerous images on the Instagram account ranging from the Kenya trip to the royal family’s palace interiors have credited the Tasmanian-born Princess.
Princess Mary’s ascendance from a common Australian girl to Danish royalty has been well-documented. Princess Mary and Prince Frederik met at a Sydney pub during the 2000 Summer Olympics. She moved to Denmark the year after and became engaged to the Crown Prince in 2004. In her transition to the royal life, Princess Mary renounced her Australian citizenship.
