Aperol spritz
Aperol is the user-friendlier alternative to that other great Italian aperitif, Campari. As it's less bitter and lower in alcohol, it's generally a crowd-pleasing drink.
Ingredients:
- 3 parts prosecco or sparkling wine
- 2 parts Aperol
- 1 part soda
- Orange slices
Method:
- Fill a glass, jug or tumbler with plenty of ice.
- Pour the prosecco over it, top with Aperol and then add soda.
- Stir to blend and add some slices of orange.
