Aperol spritz

Aperol is the user-friendlier alternative to that other great Italian aperitif, Campari. As it's less bitter and lower in alcohol, it's generally a crowd-pleasing drink.

Method:

  1. Fill a glass, jug or tumbler with plenty of ice.
  2. Pour the prosecco over it, top with Aperol and then add soda.
  3. Stir to blend and add some slices of orange.
