Baked asparagus fries
Craving chips but don’t want to compromise your health and diet? Try these baked asparagus fries as a healthy alternative.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of grated parmesan
- 1 cup of Japanese panko crumbs
- ½ kg of asparagus
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
Method:
- After preheating your oven to 220°C, spray a baking tray with cooking spray or line with baking paper.
- Combine parmesan and panko in a bowl and add salt and pepper.
- Coat asparagus in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and coat in panko/parmesan.
- On your baking sheet, place asparagus and cook for 12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
