Heartwarming beef casserole
This hearty, gorgeously tender beef casserole recipe is packed with lovely chunky veg and packed full of flavour.
Ingredients:
- 750g steak, trimmed, roughly cut
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
- 2 carrots, peeled, thickly sliced
- ⅔ cup red wine
- 2 dried bay leaves
- 660ml bottle passata (tomato pasta sauce)
- 1 ½ cups stock (whatever you’d prefer)
- 260g bottle tomato chutney
- 2 large sprigs fresh rosemary
- Chopped fresh continental parsley, to serve
