Blue cheese dip
This recipe for blue cheese dip provides you with a sauce that’s a tasty addition to any plate of appetisers. Serve this dip with carrot and celery sticks.
Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 100g mild blue cheese, crumbled
- 250g tub crème fraiche
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Extra 20g blue cheese, crumbled
Method:
- Pour oil into a small frying pan and heat at a medium setting.
- Add garlic and cook, stirring, for about a minute or until it becomes fragrant.
- Transfer garlic to a medium sized bowl and set aside for 10 minutes to cool.
- Once cooled, add blue cheese and crème fraiche to the garlic.
- Combine with a stick blender, until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
- Drizzle with lemon juice and toss to coat.
- Place the tip in a service bowl and top with extra cheese.
