Cherry Pie

Try out this delicious, easy dessert classic yourself to bring sweetness and colour to your tabletop.

Method:

  1. In a large zip-loc bag, add cherries, flour, sugar and cinnamon and toss.
  2. Preheat oven to 220°C.
  3. Place pastry in pie pan. Add tossed filling.
  4. Place top crust over pie. Cut ventilation slits and flute pie edges. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to 175°C and bake for an additional 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. Let cool – length of time with depend if you want to serve warm or cool. Cut and serve.
