Kangaroo burgers

Kangaroo meat has almost no saturated fat and has more iron and double the vitamin B12 levels of other meats. So get some roo on your plate!

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. In a large bowl, combine mince, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper and shape into patties.
  2. Chill for half an hour.
  3. Place oil in a large non-stick pan on a high heat. Reduce to medium and add patties, cooking for 5 minutes on each side or to preference.
  4. Place patties on the burger bun and top with a slice of cheese, lettuce and slices of tomato and onion. Add your favourite sauce and serve.
