DIY kitchen tablet holder
One of the biggest perks of owning a tablet is that it’s a perfect medium on which to carry your recipes. Your kitchen and your iPad should go hand in hand, but with heat and liquids around it could be a dangerous place for electronics. We’ve got a solution for you: a rustic DIY tablet holder to keep your device out of harm’s way while you cook up a storm.
You will need:
- A small wooden cutting board
- A scrabble letter holder
- An right-angle triangular wooden children’s block
- A strong adhesive
- Paint/stain of your choice
How to:
1. Using your adhesive, attach the scrabble holder to the bottom of your cutting board, rounded edge facing outwards, creating a lip within which your tablet will sit.
2. Glue the children’s block to the back of the cutting board, creating a stand that keeps the ensemble upright.
3. Allow the pieces to dry.
4. Sand and stain/paint in your desired finish.
