How to make a self-watering planter
If you dislike the task of watering your plants or simply forget too often, why not consider a self-watering planter? As self-watering planters are a sealed system, it not also lowers water consumption by reducing evaporation, it keeps insects and pests out of the water supply. You can buy fancy self-watering pots from your local gardening store, but it’s actually quite easy to make your own planter – and you probably have all the materials lying around the house.
