Inside Judge Judy’s new $12 million mansion
Judge Judy has bought a new home with her husband Jerry for $AU12.15 million in Newport, Rhode Island.
The 9,719-square-foot property has six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, two partial bathrooms, a pool and an elevator.
Most of the rooms in the impressive mansion have panoramic ocean views and there are many other modern amenities, such as a geothermal heating and cooling system and heated floors.
The home was previously owned by Campbell Soup heiress Dorrance Hamilton, who nicknamed the property ‘The Bird House’ because of her love for birds.
According to a news release, Judy Sheindlin told Gustave White Sotheby’s International Realty that she and her husband are “looking forward to falling in love with Newport”.
The home is located at one of the highest points in Newport, so Judge Judy will be secluded away from prying eyes.
