5 things you can (and should) do with your garage besides storing your car in it
With property prices ever increasing, space in the home is becoming even more valuable. Many people are looking to their garage as a chance to change some wasted space into an asset.
Instead of filling your garage with old furniture or boxes of who-knows-what, turn that space into one that works for you.

Here we have five simple ideas to get you inspired.
Home office
Instead of renting an office you could save money each month by working from home. You could even consider renting it out if it is in a desirable location.
Spare room
Making a guest room from your garage is very popular and it adds value to your home. Instead of having family and friends camp out in the lounge room, having a guest room can really make everyone more comfortable.
Home gym
If getting to the gym is the hardest part of your workout, why not bring the gym to you? Grab a couple of key pieces of equipment (think stationary bike, cross trainer or weights) and a little stereo to pump out your motivating tunes.
Second living area
This could house a second TV set, or even be set up as an artist’s studio or music room. Perfect if you have older children living at home for some privacy for everyone.
Home cinema
Sure it’s a touch indulgent but if you’re a movie buff why not invest in a quality projector and comfortable seating for your film nights. No long queues and no expensive popcorn!
