Ex-NRL player Alex McKinnon shares first photo from “dream” wedding
Just over a week on from his wedding to long-term girlfriend and high school sweetheart Teigan Power in NSW’s Hunter Valley, Alex McKinnon has shared the first photo from his “dream” day.
The former footballer, who was left quadriplegic after a tragic injury on the field, took to Instagram to share the incredible moment he defied the odds to stand at the altar on what he described as “the best day of our lives”.
“It took 3 years of EVERYTHING I’ve got in me to achieve this moment of standing with my beautiful wife on our wedding day,” McKinnon captioned the beautiful photo. “Dreams do come true.”
New wife Teigan also posted the gorgeous snap from New Idea, writing, “When your dream day is summed up in one photo.”
What an incredible moment! We wish the newlyweds all the best for the future.
