Girl receives touching graduation letter from late grandma
She may no longer be here to celebrate in person, but that didn’t stop one doting grandmother from congratulating her granddaughter on her graduation. Kayla Buckmaster’s gran passed away when she was just four years old, but the proud grandmother didn’t want her to miss out on the celebrations.
According to Buckmaster, before her grandmother passed away, she wrote a beautiful letter and included a gift of $100 to be opened upon her graduation 14 years later.
The touching and thoughtful gesture quickly went viral, receiving over 440,000 likes on Twitter and more than 83,000 retweets at the time of writing.
