Pippa Middleton’s wedding menu revealed

Over the past week or so, the details of Pippa Middleton’s extravagant society wedding have slowly been revealed, from that stunning dress to the newlyweds’ highly exclusive (and expensive) honeymoon destination.

Now, we finally know a little more about the reception itself. One cheeky guest managed to sneak out the wedding menu, and we have to say, it’s fit for royalty.

The entrée consisted of Berkshire Mayfly Trout, served with marinated cucumber, confit tomatoes, horseradish cream and sauce vierge. This was followed by the main course of Herdwick lamb, accompanied by lamb shoulder tortellini, eggplant puree, Yorkshire asparagus and black olive jus. To top of the sumptuous feast, guests were served Glen Affric cranachan cheesecake with a Highland whisky honey.

Throughout the banquet, guests were also treated to a number of vintage champagnes, wines and spirits, including a 1998 Chateau Palmer, worth around $250 per bottle.
