Bowls club trio channel Beyonce in video protest

Three ladies at Chadstone Bowls Club in Melbourne have channelled popstar Beyoncé in a video protesting plans to scrap the club for an indoor sports stadium.

The video, which you can see below, was released after the City of Stonnington announced its plans to get rid of the historic club in favour of the new facility.

Terry, Janine and Wyn, who belt out the song parody of the Beyoncé hit “All The Single Ladies” in the video, have now become a viral sensation.

Denise Wallish, who organised the video said, "This isn't fair and it isn't equitable.

“This has been our home for 60 years, our sporting home, and we want to be here for the next 60.

“I think they're just hoping the bowling club will give up but we're not going to.”
