Meet the 85-year-old ping pong champ
At 85-year-old Tom Russell is a ping pong master.
Although generally most people move slower when they age, Tom is having none of that and moves around the table with minimal fuss.
When it appears like Tom is about to slow down he then speeds up the pace of the game.
Tom eventually beats his competitor 21 to 18 points.
The Irish ping pong sensation shakes his opponent’s hand and then talks to others in the room who congratulate him.
He walked to a man waiting to play next and said, “I told you I would soften him up for you.”
